What is it?
I was surfing the net when this article on the new Google chrome came upon me. Well, for starters, the screen shot provided is damn nice..don't you all agree?
The article said that this new browser was prematurely announced last September 1, 2008 and was forced to be released the following day..based on curiousity, this is what i have read about the new google chrome :
Features include:
Tabbed browsing where each tab gets its own process, leading to faster and more stable browsing. If one tab crashes, the whole browser doesn’t go down with it
A distinct user interface that places tabs on top of the browser window instead of right below the address bar
An “incognito” mode that lets you browse the web in complete privacy because it doesn’t record any of your activity
A new JavaScript engine built from the ground up for speed
Malware and phishing lists that automatically update themselves and warn you of bad websites
A default homepage that displays your most commonly used sites and other personalized information hi
**Though sources say that the new google chrome is available only for Windows, rumors about the Mac and Linux Versions are also said to come out but later...
