People who became rich

The term nouveau riche comes from the french words; "new rich" or in simpler terms, someone who has acquired considerable wealth through hard work and perseverance in his own generation. People who are considered nouveau riche are the kind who are also known as modern day heroes for their passion and ubelievable hardships in attaining their goals and successfully achieving it.

Steve Jobs, for one is a perfect example of a person who has become nouveau riche. Who would believe that an adopted child who dropped out of school from his first semester in college will be the same guy who gave us the chance of experiencing a fast paced and more convenient life in terms of technology?

He was 16 yrs old when he met friends who helped him change the world. After being able to convince multi-millionaire Mike Markkula in assembling a computer and selling it, they were able to expand Apple immediately, and as young as the founders were, they needed an experienced executive to run the company for them. That person was John Sculley.

It wasn't a smooth drive for Jobs and his co founders, after getting a reputation of being very temperamental from his employees and other corporate issues, Jobs was ousted and kicked out of the Macintosh Division in 1985.

He then founded NeXT; another computer company who wasnt very popular with regards to sales. But was visibly known to the technology world with it's innovative software development. Later, Apple decided to buy NeXT which made Jobs come back to Apple as it's interim CEO.
From then on, together with luck and hardwork, Jobs has retained his rightful position as the original co founder of one of the biggest and most successful computer companies in the world today.
